Open Windows start menu and search for Services, look for a Grammarly Inc service (usually the first one) select it by right clicking on it and select properties then click on the stop button at top of the tab to stop it from running automatically during boot up. Open registry keys at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\ (e.g., uiAudFilter) and set DllName value to nul Reboot PC if necessary to complete action. Start->Control Panel->Network and Sharing Center, click on Change adapter settings in “view your active networks”, look for a network called “Grammarly Inc” or something like that, right click on it and select disable.
(win 7) Go to Start -> Control Panel->Programs and Features, check if grammarly is listed there (it may be listed with the last installed date of Feb 20), uncheck it by right clicking on it(may take a while for it to show up in the list), then uninstall it from Programs and Features, if you have no luck try going through Registry Key and delete the key, then reboot PC.Ħ. Open Google Chrome and go to settings->Extensions>check Grammarly plugin, then click on the trash can icon to delete it.ĥ. Delete location of Grammarly plugin file Documents\Grammarly\grammalysisweetspot folder and %LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\flepfconjbldfjjpcmfafdphceeifbp\1.8_0\. Then go to Tools->Options->Spelling & Grammar, uncheck “Check spelling as you type”.
